Drums
Joe, a Belmont MA native, began playing drums in grade school soon after watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. His musical interests followed the Rock Music of the ’60s and early ’70s with a particular interest in jam bands like the Grateful Dead and Allman Bros and psychedelic bands like Pink Floyd. He played in several junior high and high school bands such as the Ninth Wave, Manic Depression and the Golden Haze. In 2005 while surfing Craig’s List Musician’s section he answered an ad for a Grateful Dead style cover band looking for a drummer and the rest is, as they say, history.
