DeadBeat will kick off its 20th anniversary year with our old friends pedal steel legend ROBERT RANDOLPH & drummer Wally Ingram in a benefit for The Robert Randolph Foundation on 5/17/25 at Bayside Bowl in Portland, ME.
Robert Randolph is a multiple Grammy nominated pedal steel player whose has performed at Eric Clapton’s Crossroad’s Guitar Festival (and supported Eric Clapton as an opening act on tour), the Bonaroo Music Festival and much more over his multi decade career! We would like to congratulate our friend Robert Randolph for his amazing steel and pedal steel guitar playing on Beyoncé’s new, Grammy winning, album Cowboy Carter!
Wally Ingram was a member of The Bob Weir and Phil Lesh Duo and Timbuk 3. Wally has worked with Sheryl Crow, The David Nelson Band and many other artists!

The Robert Randolph Foundation is the brainchild of celebrated African American Artist, Robert Randolph. As a man with a long history of community involvement, Robert has remained passionately committed to programs and initiatives focused on family support and development.
This passion inspired him to create this foundation as a skill development platform for youth from all walks of life to gain knowledge that can transform their lives-regardless of their cultural, social, or racial backgrounds. The foundation has recently launched its CRE8 Your Future Academy, an immersive youth in STEM learning opportunity for diverse high school students.
